BAR & RESTAURANT EXTENSION

CHALLENGE

Lustica Bay, a newly built touristic destination, sought to animate their marina during the winter season — a traditionally quiet period with limited footfall and F&B activity.
The goal was to create a visually striking, fully functional lounge that could attract visitors, enhance the festive atmosphere, and position the destination as vibrant year-round.

SOLUTION

DDS envisioned a 7-metre frameless transparent dome — a luminous, sculptural structure set at the waterfront amphitheatre.
The dome was designed as a fully operational F&B outlet, featuring a lounge bar, seasonal decor, ambient lighting, and immersive

gastronomic experience.
By combining architecture and atmosphere, DDS transformed a seasonal challenge into an opportunity for destination storytelling and

community connection.
